FAQs

For your convenience, we have prepared a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions. If you have any additional inquiries, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email at echoumakeup@gmail.com. We encourage you to explore the entirety of the “Full Q&A”

How far in advance should I book for the wedding day?

Our team is usually booked months or a year in advance, so it is best to contact me as soon as you know your wedding date. A 50% deposit of the total will be required to secure the spot, no refundable if significant cancel the services less than 6 months prior to the event.

Is trial necessary?

In order to ensure the perfect look for your wedding day, I strongly recommend that you arrange for a trial.

Can I use my trial for my engagement session?

The trial is specifically designed for the wedding day while the engagement session may involve a more casual look. Since the two styles are so different, I discourage using the trial for your engagement photos.

What's the service price like?

Please check our Pricing page for more details. We offer high-quality services at reasonable prices. Feel free to contact us, and we’ll work with you to meet your budget.

How long is going to take for bride & bridal party & family memebers make-up and hair

We will provide multiple artists for large bridal parties. Bride’s make-up & hair need 2 ½ hours, bridesmaid or family member make-up or hair only need 40 minutes. The typical time farm is approximately 4-5 hours for bride + 6-8 people make-up & hair.

How far in advance should I book my wedding makeup/hair trial?

It is suggested that you schedule your trial at least 5-6 months prior to your wedding date if you want to do the trial first. If you want to book the services first, the trial can be 1-2 months ahead the wedding.

How many looks are included in the trial?

One – two look. The consultation will consist of a complete make-up application and 1-2 hair style/up-do ( More than 3 hours).

You are more than welcome to bring photographs of the desired hair style and/or makeup. In addition, pictures of the wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, accessories, and other details of the wedding are extremely helpful in creating your ultimate look.

Can I book trials on Saturday?

Most wedding day events are scheduled on Sat., so we will typically be completely booked. Due to limited time availability, the trial can only be scheduled on WEEKDAYS with no exception.

What do I need to prepare for the trial?

Please wash your hair the NIGHT BEFORE the trial, do not use condition. The hair must be completely dry prior to the trial.

Please do not apply any lotion on eye or lips.

Wear a low collar or light color top. Tube tops are preferred.
Provide as much information about the wedding details as possible (i.e. wedding gown, theme colors, pictures of sample hair styles/makeup) so we can create a look that best suits you and your preferences.

What forms of payment are accepted

The preferred form of payment is cash. Checks are also accepted. However, we do not accept credit cards at this time.
